Description

Multivitamins plus minerals for prevention and treatment of vitamin deficiency for adults 8 years and older. Content: 30 coated tablets.

Dose

Dayamineral ® coated tablets for children over 8 years of age and adults is 1 tablet daily, higher doses must be ordered by the doctor. Do not crush or chew this medication. Doing so may release all of the medication at once, increasing the risk of side effects. Take this medication regularly at the same time each day to get the most benefit.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of its components. Iron therapy is contraindicated in patients with thalassemia, sideroblastic anemia, and hemochromatosis.

Side Effects

Use of vitamin preparations. The components of these products have been associated with gastrointestinal effects such as heartburn, belching, abdominal pain and cramping, diarrhea, constipation, vomiting, nausea, and anorexia.

Warnings

Overdosage with products containing iron is a cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age, so it is recommended to keep these products out of the reach of children. Iron therapy may induce relapse of erythropoietic protoporphyria. It has been suggested that iron overload would be involved in the pathogenesis of porphyria cutanea Tarda. The daily administration of 25,000 I.U. of vitamin A should be avoided in patients with chronic liver disease and hyperlipidemia. Vitamin D should be used with caution in patients with hypercalcemia. Increased sensitivity to vitamin D is observed in patients with kidney damage and an abnormal calcium/phosphorus ratio.

Storage

All medications should be kept out of the reach of children at a temperature no higher than 30°C.
